Coach Paul Durisseau
Head Coach
USATF Level One and USTFCCCA Technical Track and Field Certified Coach
Coach Paul is a Founder, & Head Coach of the Stallions Track and Field Team. Coach Paul is a Faculty & Staff member at Texas Southern University & the University of Houston. He worked 3 years with the Texas A&M University System & 4 years with Prairie View A&M University. Coach Paul is a graduate of PVAMU with Bachelors & Masters degrees in Engineering & Education. Coach Paul’s passion for competitions & success stems from a long family history in professional sports. Coach Paul started Track & Field in middle school competing in events like the 100m, 200m & 400 meters. He also played wide receiver, free safety & punt returner for the Elmore Tigers. Coach Paul attended Forest Brook Senior High School where he made the varsity track team his freshmen year running the open 800 & 400 meters. At Forest Brook, Coach Paul also ran the 3200M, 1500M ,800M, 400M, 200M & 4X400M Relay making 4A Regionals four years in a row , once in the open 800 with a time of 1:57 & four times in a row in the 4x 400 Meter Relay, the team went on to win at the Texas State Meet. Collegially, Coach Paul trained with the Texas A & M University Track Team but later decided to explore other scholarship opportunities & therefore attended Prairie View A & M University. While at Prairie View, Coach Paul trained under Coach Clifton Gillard for many sessions in order to prepare for track competitions. However, the season ended early due to unforeseen circumstances. Coach Paul became the Head Coach and President of the Texas Stallion Track Club in the 2005/2006 season. Subsequently, the Stallions have made National Appearances every season leading to the winning of two national titles. In 2014, the Stallions Dominated the AAU Indoor& Outdoor Junior Olympics winning over 15 national titles in various events. Coach Paul also trains many collegiate athletes that compete or have competed at schools like , McNeese, LSU, TAMU , HBU, UofH , TSU, PVU , UT & Baylor Universities . With a great staff of well accomplished coaches, very dedicated board members with a vision of success & the greatest athletes anyone can ask for, The Texas Stallions has become one of the premiere Youth \ Collegiate Track & Field Programs in the Gulf Coast Region of Texas.
Coach Holston

Born in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom in 1971, Coach Houlston played rugby through Intermediate to High school. After leaving College, Coach Houlston tried Ice Hockey and Baseball but finally settled on playing American Football in the UK. Coach Houlston represented his City (Cardiff Bay Warriors), playing as the starting Defensive tackle. After 3 years, Coach Houlston tried out for the Welsh National team and was successful, playing in 3 UK Nation games as the starting Defensive Tackle. Due to work commitments, Coach Houlston retired from Football in 1998. Coach Houlston arrived in the USA in 2004 and works in I.T. as Document and Content Management Specialist. Coach Houlston has been married for 20years to Joanne and has 2 children, Ethan & Cerys who are both athletes in the Texas Stallions Track Team. Coach Houlston is a member of USAT (USA Triathlon) and has completed a 70.3 Triathlon. Coach Houlston joined the Texas Stallions in 2013 as a parent helper and moved onto Assistant Coach. Coach Houlston is currently the Athletic Director and Head Coach of the Throws Team. The Throws Team has continued to shine at Regional, State and National level with athletes qualifying and placing with top honors.
