Stallions Elite Indoor Track & Field
Indoor track and field competitions are held in adapted gymnasiums, which can easily accommodate high jump competitions and short track events. The facilities bear similarities with their outdoor equivalents. Typically, a central area is surrounded by a 200-meter oval track with four to eight lanes. Some tracks are banked at the turns to allow athletes to run around the radius more comfortably. Sometimes, there is also a second running track going straight across the field area, parallel to the straights of the main circuit. This track is used for the short sprints and hurdle events. The Stallions offers indoor competition for 7th- High School aged students only due to developmental meet availability. Typically the meets we attend are hosted by colleges & universities that offer open events for high school and/or club athletes. Training starts in November & meets will begin early January and may require travel.
Meet entry fees are typically $20-30 per event entered. Details are provided once events are selected.
